One Device, the Whole Building

Buildings rent their brains. This one owns it.

Most building software lives in someone else's cloud. Brain inverts that: the entire Tesseract Home stack runs on hardware that belongs to the building, inside the building.

Tesseract Home itself is hosted on the device. Residents, staff, and management use the building's own server, not a distant one.

The digital twin and every record it grounds against live on site. The building's memory is physically the building's property.

03 / THINKSThe model

A language model runs locally on the device, answering over context that identity and retrieval have already scoped. Cloud inference stays explicit, optional, and logged.

Brain's front-of-house face welcomes visitors at the lobby and answers over the building's shared knowledge, with every exchange captured for review.

A reception that never steps away.

The lobby is where a building meets its people, so it is where Brain shows its face. The AI reception greets visitors, answers questions over the building's shared, common knowledge, and hands off anything personal to the identity-gated app.

What Reception says is never a black box: exchanges are captured, auditable, and visible to the building's operators.

In Tesseract Home, privacy is not a policy paragraph. It is a wall. Brain is the reason the wall can be physical: when intelligence lives inside, data has no reason to leave.
